I'd like to welcome everyone to the Team 3 Forum. My hope is that these forums will be a direct link between the families at home and the Marines serving their country. The plan is to post regular updates as to the happenings of the team in order to keep you all informed. Feel free to make posts yourself, because I also want this site to link the families to one another. Enjoy the site and continue to support your Marines.
Semper Fidelis,
Lt. David Gilliland Team 3 OIC

First let me start by saying I don't know how these msg boards work very well, so I hope I don't embarrass my son (AJ) by messing this up.... :-) (ha ha) but I wanted to say thank you so much for all the updates and photos. When I look at these, even if it's for just a few minutes, I have my son close to me. I am so very proud of you AJ as well as the dedicated men who are serving along side you. Family, friends and everyone here at work says "thank you" to all of you for your hard work, your commitment and your sacrifice, not only to your family but to your country. Please be safe. AJ, please let me know if there is anything I can send for you or anyone in your unit. Love you, Mom (let me know if I didn't put this message in the right place okay)

Hello!
I've looked at the website a hundred times in the last 2 weeks and I just can't get enough of the pictures, witty updates and nice messages. This is my son's, Cpl. Cruz, 3rd deployment to Iraq and I have to say that this is the first time I feel so connected to him and what his team is doing in Iraq. What a great idea this was! It's great to see so many smiles! Keep up the good work out there and remember that we back home have not forgotten everything our military is doing there. You're all in our thoughts and prayers daily and we thank you for your sacrifices! Anthony...I'm so very proud of you and what you represent - a fine young man a great Marine! I guess I had a little something to do with it, huh? :>) Stay safe Team and it will be a great homecoming in 2009!

hello,
FIRST OFF, I WANT TO TAKE SOME TIME OUT TO THANK GOD FOR THESE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN WHO PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE DAILY TO PROTECT AMERICA AND OUR FREEDOM. GOD BLESS THESE SOLDIERS. GUIDE THEM, PROTECT THEM AND SEND THEM BACK HOME SAFELY..
THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH FOR THIS WEBSITE. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO KEEP IN CONTACT WITH THEIR LOVED ONE(S) SERVING A TOUR IN IRAQ- OR BETTER YET WHAT MY SON SGT. VEE WOULD PUT IT " THE SAND BOX". ...SON, IM SO PROUD OF YOU! YOU MAKE MOTHERS LIKE ME WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND GO TO BED AT NIGHT WITH GREAT PRIDE AND JOY KNOWING I HAVE A CHILD OUT THERE MAKING MAJOR MOVES TO PROTECT THE LIVES OF OTHERS. YOU SOLDIERS MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR US AS AMERICANS TO SLEEP AT NIGHT AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT OUR SAFETY AND FREEDOM WHEN WE WAKE UP. I WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY THANK ALL YOU SOLDIERS OUT THERE FOR YOUR HARD, YET GREAT WORK... GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES, MAY YOU ALL MAKE IT HOME SAFELY.
SINCERELY,
MRS. VEE
